Prayer is central to the life of St Paul's since it is a vital opportunity to raise our hearts and minds to God. Each morning begins with an assembly and the Angelus is said at 12noon. All students are on a rota to attend Mass in the Chapel on a Tuesday morning and are expected to attend Mass on Holy Days of Obligation since 'the Eucharist is the sum and summary of our faith' (CCC1327). Our Chaplain is available to hear Confession throughout the year and many other activities are organised to support the spiritual life of our school by the Chaplaincy Team.
Our Lady has a very special place in our school. She is the perfect example of faith and holiness. We pray to her often and will say the Rosary particularly in October and May. There is a grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes outside the Sister Suite. In school, we will say prayers such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Creed, and Eternal Rest.
