Congratulations to our Year 9s for their winning entries to the History Departments’ competition for Black History Month. The girls had to create a commemorative postcard for one of the themes highlighted in this year’s Black History Month, they could mark either the service of African and African Caribbean soldiers of WWI, the 70^th anniversary of the SS Empire Windrush's arrival or the centenary of Nelson Mandela’s birth.
