Year 9

Drama at St. Paul's enables the students to learn about themselves and their surroundings through discovery and exploration.  They will develop an increasing awareness of 'real' issues in the 'real' world stimulated by the drama.

They are encouraged to communicate ideas through general discussion and role-play and the process of Drama encourages a smooth transition between KS3 and KS4.

Students engage in practical activities which offer evidence of creating, performing and responding.

  • Building an understanding of 'self perception', raising levels of low self-esteem.
  • Exploring levels of stress and methods of management.
  • Addictive behaviour and influences.
  • Overcoming fear and prejudice.
