In Year 9, students will look extensively at Film music and will examine how composers create music that mirrors on screen action. There will be a keen focus on composition and famous composers, in order to prepare for KS4 throughout the year. In addition to this, there will be opportunity to explore individual and small group performance projects in preparation for ensemble work in KS4. An opportunity to share in an informal concert in the Summer term with parents will be given to students in order to showcase their work throughout KS3.
