Year 11 Curriculum - Art

Students follow the AQA GCSE curriculum

In year 11 art students continue to explore and refine component 1.  They will end the project with a final piece of artwork which sums up their investigation just before Christmas.

At the start of the spring term year 11 students will receive their Externally Set Assignment (Component 2) from the exam board.  They will select one question from a list of 7 to record, explore and refine over approximately 10 weeks.  They will then bring it to a conclusion with another final piece of art work.

Student must complete both components
