Art

Art at St Paul’s broadens students’ thinking and increases their awareness of the world around them through exposure to artists, issues and diverse cultures.  They explore a wide range of materials to generate ideas that are personal and meaningful.  They are courageous in taking risks with confidence.  They become skilled and motivated in preparation for a lifelong appreciation of the arts or potentially ready for a career in the creative industries.

At the end of Key stages students leave art with growing assurance in themselves and their abilities, and a developing awareness of meaningful artwork often inspired by real world issues, even if they don’t opt for it at GCSE or A Level.
